Memorial Bench for Frank Gibson
Trafalgar Neighbourhood Council have placed a bench in memory of long standing member, Mr Frank Gibson on the football pitch in Redford Avenue.

Christmas Lights at the Dog and Bacon Green
Several years ago, Trafalgar Neighbourhood Council funded the Christmas Lights at the Dog and Bacon Green. This year we added coloured lights to the tree and have received many positive comments about how festive and welcoming it makes the Green look.
For anyone who hasn’t seen them, here is a picture.

Newsletter update
Thank you for all your comments on our recent newsletter. The majority of comments concerned parking, speeding traffic and the poor state of road surfaces. These comments have been passed to WSCC for investigation.
Does your electric blanket need testing?
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are offering the opportunity for residents to have their electric blankets tested free-of-charge. The events are not being held until the autumn; however appointments are filling up quickly, so please phone us if you would like a space.
The free tests are carried out by fire service personnel who have been specially trained to use the testing equipment. The testing will be carried out by appointment only and will run from 10am to 4pm each day. Residents can call 0845 872 9719 to book their appointment.
