Francis Vernon of HDC Cycling Forum attended our September meeting to give a presentation on Cycling in the Carfax. He outlined the benefits achieved when more people choose to cycle or walk, detailing how, if you can get people doing either of these as part of their everyday life, it improves health benefits immensely and helps deal with carbon emissions and climate change. Details of the proposal can be seen in the attachment below and as members were largely supportive of the concept we look forward to hearing of how the concept develops. We would also welcome feedback from residents.
