Horsham Riverside Walk 2021
The committee of the Horsham Riverside Walk are organising a Celebration Walk to mark coming out of lockdown. This is scheduled to take place at 10.00 am on Saturday 11th September, 2021.
The hope is that families and friends (and their dogs) will want to take part in the Walk, which will start and finish at New House Farm, in Old Crawley Road, where the owner has been very helpful in offering car parking facilities. The farm is very conveniently on the route of the 13-mile circular Walk around the town.
The Celebration Walk will be walked in a clockwise direction and as not everyone will walk the total length, to help a free mini bus will wait at agreed points to transport walkers back to the car park.
The walk is of course subject to any Government advice and COVID restrictions that may apply at the time.
The route of the Riverside Walk is open all year round and a great many residents have been using parts of it for their permitted exercise during lockdown, enjoying the scenery, nature and fresh air. Maps and information can be found on www.horsham.community/riverside-walk/
